Carberry shuts-down itself (dies) after a minute. How to solve/avoid that?

I changed the OS to Carberry for a test, and now I get this message before it shuts down:
Broadcast message from root@raspberrypi (Sat Apr 25 21:19:27 2015):

System halted by Carberry
The system is going down for system halt NOW!

Broadcast message from root@raspberrypi (Sat Apr 25 21:19:28 2015):

System halted by Carberry
The system is going down for system halt NOW!
-----------
it seems that the Carberry plate tries to shut down the system. With normal linux only shuts down itself, but It succeeds with the carbian due to the shutdown deamon.

Any idea why this happens?

Figured that out. It requires the 12V ignition signal in order to stay awake.

Yes,
When Carberry can't get the positive ignition info from a canbus line, it requires +12V on positive ignition input in order to keep powered Raspberry Pi.

When Carberry can't get the positive ignition info from a canbus line, it seems that it does not see your car at all. Because even when I put +12V on positive ignition input, I still cannot read messages from CAN BUS. Any ideas?

Hello,

I have a similare issue, except that the ignition wire is actually connected to the 12V, but the carberry still shuts down.
Any idea why?

Very Very Very important, Raspberry pi could not be powered by 5V micro USB port. You need to power only Carberry connecting Red and Yellow/Blue wire to +12V and Black wire to ground.

I haven't powered the raspberry, only the carberry. It was working fine, til one day, it started to shut down by itself.
Still haven't found the reason :(

Are you connecting your carberry to an external device (sensor, ECU..) ?

Nope. I connected the carberry to the raspberry. A screen and a keyboard are also connected. And I powered the carberry on with 12V
