Mercedes W212 and Carberry

Postby DerT » Wed Aug 16, 2017 9:45 pm

Hello,

I am interested in carberry, but have a few questions.

First some Information about my Car.
- Mercedes Benz W212 Class E with a Comand Radio system

I would like to realize the following things:
- Radio and navigation via Carberry
- Media center via kodi (optional)
- Car Diagnostics/Info Panel via OBD2
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring (optional)
- Hands-free kit for mobile phone
- Internet connection via 3G or LTE Module

The following features should still be available:
- The function buttons on the steering wheel should work (Vol +, Vol -, Mute, Accept a Call, Reject a Call, hang up)
- I have to set the time via the Comand system. This should still be possible afterwards
- If possible the multi function controller in the center console should work.
- If possible, I would like to use to or replace the buttons on my radio.

Is this possible?
What do I need for this?
Which harness I need?

Actual I know nothing about carberry, so please tell me what you know.
What do I nee to know to use carberry?

At this point, thank you to everyone who has read the thread.
Excuse me for my bad english, if you have not understood something I try to explain it more precisely.

Best regards

Hi,
theoretically this car model is compatible with carberry but we did not verify it.
Anyway, to realize what you want, you have to write all the software with all function descibed integraed together because our project are examples of use and they are separated one by one.
In order to the harnesses, we buy free wires cables.
Let us know,
thanks, best regards.
