Emteria OS and Carberry

Postby Oploskoffie » Wed Apr 11, 2018 5:02 pm

Hi there,

I found this Industrial Android called Emteria OShttps://emteria.com and it works really well with the Raspberry Pi 3.
I do like linux, but I think Android seems much more interesting since it's able to run Spotify and Google Maps. It's also possible to access the GPIO pins through Emteria OS. Is it possible to communicate with the Carbarry when it's running on Android? Or can I build something myself? If yes, does anyone have some tips or idea's?

Thanks,

Hi,
Carberry is connected to Raspberry Pi as indicated here://www.carberry.it/wiki/carberry/hw ... _interface
You have to write a daemon that create a socket TCP and allows to communicate through the GPIO ports indicated on the carberry serial port. Parameters of the serial port 115200 8N1.

thanks and best regards
